We are currently looking for a Senior SCADA/Load Management System Analyst who will be responsible for providing senior-level system administration and technical support for the SCADA and Load Management systems. This position will monitor, maintain and improve system performance to ensure ease of use and that they are operating efficiently. This position will also analyze load profiles and historical data to recommend load control strategies.
Associate's Degree in Computer Technology or related field is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems is desired. Three to five years of related experience and/or training is required. Experience with Linux, UNIX and Windows Operating Systems and their server and client-side software solutions preferred. Previous experience with SCADA and Load Management systems and computer programming methodologies is preferred.
The Meter Engineer provides work direction for Metering employees as well as customer facing technical support for account managers. The engineer works directly with our largest customers to provide engineering consulting on the implementation and integration of customer owned energy control and monitoring systems with our metering systems.
Analysis and recommendations of design options, recommendations for metering structures, systems and components.
Preparation of engineering designs, material and constructions specifications and cost estimates, review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities for projects.
Perform complex engineering designs, engineering calculations and system modifications.
Apply codes, standards and regulations to ensure regulatory compliance and safe work environment.
Lead Root Cause Analysis activities.
Understand and utilize knowledge of interconnected systems to troubleshoot and improve performance.
Utilize performance monitoring/optimization tools, calculations, tests and engineering analysis to develop recommendations to maintain and improve plant, system and/or equipment performance, efficiency and reliability.
